The name "Taeao Fou" (The New Dawn) is significant to us as we continue in our pilgrimage. It is a new beginning for us. We were a member parish under the Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa from 1994 to August 2003. In February 2004 our parish became affiliated to the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand (PCANZ), under the Fono Samoa of the Pacific Islanders (PIC) Synod.

Currently, we are renting the Presbyterian Good Shepherd Church on Johnstones Road, East Tamaki. It is a small, nice old building. We have about eleven families worshiping together. We have Sunday School, a strong Youth Group, with the Women's Fellowship and a very good Choir. We made our first CD recording titled (O le Sulu Mumu Pea) in 2002. It is to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are faced with a lot of challenges through our journey and pilgrimage.

With each challenge we have encountered, we became stronger in our faith. We will provide links to other sites that provide more detail on our church history or particular events in our past.

We invite you to become a part of the church today and a piece of its history tomorrow.
